Hello, Aleksandra! Could you please tell us where you’re from? And why do people call you Sasha, while on Instagram it’s Alessandra?
Hello! I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine. In Ukraine, we use both the official name and a shorter version. In my family and among friends, I’m called Sasha. In my passport, it’s Oleksandra, and on Instagram, it’s Alessandra, which is my name translated into Italian. Since I studied Italian initially, I liked their adaptation of my name.
In 2011, you became immensely popular not only in Ukraine but also in the USA. Could you tell us about that?
Yes, sure. Thirteen years ago, I joined the first season of The Bachelor (Ukrainian version). Twenty-five girls were competing for the heart of the Bachelor, and we fell in love. He chose me to be his bride, but since he lived in the USA, I flew to another continent to build a family. I was a naive 22-year-old girl. Unfortunately, our relationship failed, and I returned to Ukraine.
Why do you call yourself naive?
Oh, back then, I had no idea how to navigate relationships. Despite the bachelor being Ukrainian by origin, living in the States had Americanized him, and we turned out to have very different mentalities. I wasn’t ready to compromise at that time.
What happened after you returned to Kyiv? Every other person in the country watched The Bachelor. Were you recognized?
Yes, honestly, it wasn’t perfect. At first, you dream of being famous, and then you wear sunglasses everywhere so no one recognizes you. I became the one of the recognized person in Ukraine at that time. But with fame came a lot of pain, mudslinging, and bullying. It was very difficult for me, and that’s when I started searching for myself.
How did you search for yourself?
Because our love story didn’t work out, I felt crushed and blamed myself. Simultaneously, I received thousands of hateful messages and comments. I lost confidence in myself. I began meditating for the first time, and I met my inner child. Since then, my inner transformation began, which continues to this day.

Now, you are the number one mentor for meditation in Ukraine. Your meditations are available in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. Thousands of women have changed themselves and their lives thanks to your meditations. Can you explain how it works? What’s the miracle?
The miracle lies in believing in it! Believing that we are all the creators of our happiness and that through subconscious work via meditations (which are my main tool), one can heal internally and externally! We attract what we desire: money, relationships, pregnancies, gifts, and more. Currently, we practice meditations with participants of my courses for healing humanity and the planet.
Oh, that’s very powerful. How did you learn this?
I’ve attended numerous trainings and seminars, had three years of therapy, studied NLP, positive psychology, and regression, and all of this led me to what I’m doing now. I started leading meditations when I moved to the USA in 2018. It was during my second difficult and painful life transition — the death of my closest friend, my grandmother. One day, I had a revelation that I should guide people not only through scientifically proven psychology but also through so-called esoterics. I started having dreams, receiving guidance, submerging people in meditations, and even regression.
What is regression?
It’s delving into past lives, sometimes even into the period of my mother’s pregnancy and childbirth. It’s a very interesting experience that sometimes helps understand why something isn’t working out in this life.
Apart from meditations, what else do you do?
I run an online school for women worldwide. I conduct courses where I teach self-esteem, work with beliefs and birth programs, and help women find themselves and build happy lives.
Often, the cobbler’s children need shoes. But not in your case. You are a wife and a mother of two daughters! How do you manage everything?
I don’t teach what I don’t yet possess myself. For instance, I don’t instruct others on making a million dollars because I have yet to achieve that. However, I have managed to improve my health without the aid of doctors, build a successful and, importantly, sustainable business, start a family, and fulfill my dream of having daughters born one after the other.
What are you dreaming about now? You’ve already accomplished so much.
I dream of entering the American market. I can help American women. Also, this year, I’m releasing my book.
Tell us about the Book.
My book “How to Meet Friend of Your Soul: 6 Steps to Happiness and Harmonious Relationships” is about finding inner support. It’s about becoming happy on your own first and then building relationships. It’s a practical book with many exercises and meditation. Currently, my book is a bestseller in the Ukrainian market. I dream of people reading it all over the USA; it’s based on my real story.
Thank you for this inspiring conversation! I wish you all the best, and we look forward to your book in English!
