MW Entertainment Group Unveils Slate of Four Mobile Games Starting With Their Debut Title ‘Knuckle Mania’

The mobile gaming industry is continuously on the rise. The upward trend of the gaming industry has brought about countless opportunities for gamers and developers alike to mutually benefit from the latest offerings the industry has to offer. As of 2021, in light of the global pandemic, the mobile gaming industry will continue to have over a 12% compound annual growth rate into the year 2026, as per a Stern/NYU Case Study. As such, MW Entertainment Group is leading the charge in mobile gaming with plans to release four innovative mobile games into the market.

The first of these games, entitled “Knuckle Mania,” hits close to home for the All-American brand as it is a hybrid baseball game that hopes to solve the many pain points of today’s games within the same genre. The game is currently at the culmination of back-end app development and is kicking off its Beta Testing phase by November 2022.

Mobile baseball games in this day and age have failed at reproducing the critical element of what makes a video game genuinely remarkable: fun. Their complexity often overshadows the fun aspect of the current games in the genre. “The thrill of baseball is infrequent and fleeting. A mobile baseball game simulation of 9 innings takes approximately one hour to complete,” shared the “Knuckle Mania” creators.

One of the underlying problems is the sheer cognitive load that these games often entail. “Knuckle Mania” offers an intuitive way of solving this problem by offering instant gameplay that is easy to use, focuses on the fun, and delivers “snack-sized gaming,” which is instantly playable but infinitely replayable.

Founder and CEO of MW Entertainment Group, Matthew Whiteman, is adamant about bringing his vision of better mobile gaming industry to life. Whiteman is a disabled combat veteran making his company a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). He was medically retired from active duty service in the US Army in November 2014.

Whiteman is a true blue American patriot; his brand MW Entertainment Group greatly reflects that. He spent ten years of active duty in the US Air Force, followed by six years in the US Army due to personnel downsizing. Initially, Matthew Whiteman took a jab at being a professional screenwriter, where he wrote for episodic television and feature films while simultaneously attending 18 months of film school in San Diego at Palomar College.

Matthew Whiteman has written 22 episodic TV series about professional baseball, one short film, and two feature films. His TV series “San Diego Glory” captured the attention of Unity Motion Pictures out of Vancouver, BC, but failed to reach a pre-production contract. In March of 2020, he established MW Entertainment Group, focusing primarily on mobile video gaming entertainment.

“Knuckle Mania” is poised to become the first entry in MW Entertainment Group’s repertoire of awesome mobile games. Despite his company taking focus on hyper-casual mobile game design, Matthew Whiteman still hasn’t totally closed the doors on his screenwriting. In line with this, MW Entertainment Group will be the only company in the entertainment industry to offer a library of screenwriting works on top of their mobile games. “We wish to develop the highest quality, highly enjoyable mobile games and film/television screenwriting through continuous research and end-user development,” shared Whiteman.

Ultimately, MW Entertainment Group is pushing the boundaries of entertainment as we know it. Matthew Whiteman hopes to become an inspiration for other disabled veterans to reach for their dreams and attain lifelong success. Whiteman has laid the foundation for a bright future through hard work and dedication. Made in partnership with renowned game design companies such as Red Apple Technologies and Tatum Games LLC, “Knuckle Mania” has all its bases covered and is sure to hit a home run.
